COVID-19 Precautions and Protocols

27D Music Productions recognising that they have a duty to carry out risk assessment on health and safety related hazards, including at this time specifically assessing the risk of COVID-19 transmission in the context of the use of its studio carried out an assessment on 1^st of July.

Having carried out such an assessment to consider the transmission risks of COVID-19 in the studio it is important to understand that no amount of measures can eliminate risk. The goal is to mitigate risk to an acceptable level and with that in mind the following precautions and protocols have been adopted: –

We can only have a max of four people in the facility including engineer, this includes one person in the iso booth.
We are advising everyone to avoid public transport, and walk, cycle or drive where possible to the studio. Adequate free on-site parking is provided. If public transport is used, then we advise that all Government/NHS guidelines are followed around the wearing of face masks and social distancing.
An on-site thermometer is provided, and we will be requesting all clients and staff to check their own temperature at the beginning of the day/each session.
We request that inside the building, all attendees maintain a good level of social distancing.
We request that all non-essential personnel/girlfriends/boyfriends /friends of the band, refrain from entering the studio, just performers and clients.
We request that anyone entering the building use the hand sanitiser provided at the entrance and that good hygiene is observed when using toilet facility. Hand washing/use of hand sanitiser is mandatory after using these facilities.
Pop shields will be provided for each artist, these will be cleaned before and after use using an industry recognised cleaning product.
The studio, and band equipment, drums kits and computer equipment will be cleaned after each session.
Microphone grills and foam inserts will be cleaned after each session and spare grills/foam inserts will be rotated between each session.
Commonly touched articles, for example door handles, flush handles, kettles etc. will be cleaned before and after each session.
We ask that clients/band members prepare their own food and drinks.
Anyone who displays a new and persistent cough or fever is to immediately inform HRS/HRR staff and return home and self-isolate for 14 days or for a period advised by Public Heath England. Other guidelines around households and isolation should also be followed as advised by Public Health England.

All those using the studios must take responsibility for their own health, acting in accordance with our precautions and in line with our protocols is essential, and at all times:-

Implement social distancing in accordance with the government guidelines.
Maintain personal hygiene by keeping your hands and face as clean as possible, washing often with soap and water in accordance with government guidelines, for 20 seconds.
Use the hand sanitiser provided

Additional Terms and Conditions

27D shall have the right to cancel without liability (other than a refund of fees paid) by notice via email and or text message/telephone call any booking where any law or any action taken by government or public authority shall lead to the closure of the studios.

Where a client’s/band member’s temperature is such on arrival at our premises is deemed to be above normal adult body temperature, we have the right to cancel without liability any booking.

Where a client/band or its invited attendees fail to act in accordance with our precautions and in line with our protocols as set out above, we reserve the right to cancel without liability the clients booking with immediate effect.
