Restoration and Mastering.

Here is an example of some of our restoration work. This is a song from 1982 that was on 1/4 inch tape (VERSION A) the tape required baking and then transferring to the digital domain before mastering. The client wanted the song to ready for digital streaming services this is VERSION B.

Our portfolio features a real smorgasbord of material, from noisy metal, riotous punk rock, indie loveliness, producing, mixing and some great mastering examples apologies if you are not a Spotify user; however, you should be able to access at least a 30-second sample of each song.

This is an example of a typical metal project that we receive, the first mix is of the project in its raw state no editing, the second with all editing and mixing complete and the final is mastered. Love this song we would like to thank those lovely people at URM for the files!

A bit of background the client had some success with a video they had posted on Facebook and had lots of requests for a full song version of the song; the song was written for Craig’s Godson, who was tragically taken from us. He wrote the song as a tribute to him. The final version gives an example of what 27D can do for your music.
